Welcome to the Beth Hamidrash Sisterhood! We have many events on a regular basis and hope that you will join us soon!

The Sisterhood holds fun and informal events approximately once
every six weeks and usually on Tuesday evenings.
These events have so far included an introductory Yoga session
and a presentation on personal safety.
Upcoming plans include a social night and a luncheon featuring
a very special guest, and possibly Hebrew lessons!

which you'd be willing to help coordinate?

Are you able to offer hospitality over shabbat for visitors to Vancouver? The summer season is coming and we
occasionally get calls from visitors looking for shabbat dinner or even a place to stay over shabbat. We also
occasionally get calls from students requiring a regular weekend billet to enable them to attend services.

We need families and individuals who will take care of setting up for Shabbat Kiddush and others who will take care of
cleaning up after Shabbat Kiddush. This would be done on a rotating basis of a 3 month or 6 month period. Two to four
people are all that is needed for either setting up or cleaning up. Setup takes approximately ten minutes and cleanup
takes approximately 20 minutes.
